Wendy Symer is President and Owner of WLS Consulting. Wendy brings 17 years of experience in sales, sales management and training, public relations, business management as well as team development to her business. Her previous work includes managing award-winning sales teams for a Fortune 500 company and working with one of North America’s largest franchisers to assist 600 small-business owners in hiring, training, managing, and retaining highly successful sales and sales support teams.
As a business coach and growth catalyst, Wendy helps family business owners and couple-reneurs increase both profitability and personal satisfaction through leadership development, team building, and sales training. By customizing the big businesses solutions that she experienced in her 20+ years of working with large, publicly and privately held companies she helps them engineer a culture of shared leadership that empowers their teams to increased sales and profitability. Her goal is to empower team members to think like business partners and create structure, enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve sales, and ultimately increase profits.
Wendy holds a Master of Arts Degree in Speech Communication with an Organizational Communication and Public Relations emphasis. She grew up working with her family in the breeding, raising, training, and showing of World Champion Morgan Horses and attributes much of her success to the winning attitude and execution techniques she learned from talented professionals who helped her develop winning partnerships with the animals she showed.
